Having had training from Esther Jon, pointe shoe fitter to the Bolshoi Ballet (Russia). We now fit pointe shoes by appointment only.

There is a fee for the fitting of pointe shoes, as this usually takes approximately 1 hour. In the fitting of pointe shoes, it takes more than just trying on shoes. The width, length and feel of the shoe has to be right because if it's not, serious damage can be done to the dancers limbs. In the fitting, many other useful hints and tips are given at that time, which are priceless and vital to the overall performance of the Grishko shoe.

Grishko UK is the only pointe shoe that we stock as we believe if its good enough for the Russian ballerina's, then it's good enough for us!
