Having danced together for over 9 years, this was without doubt, the pinnacle of their careers. Helen has had continued success with her husband Steven, in the Sequence inventive dance field. Whilst Philip on the other hand, has trained many dancers from beginner to teacher level and has also produced his own string of medallist and open competitor champions. Being a family man and also having worked in a school classroom with many different abilities, Philip's knowledge and understanding of individuals and use of teaching methods, acheives the desired outcome and therefore builds a persons/childs confidence and esteem.

Philip is regarded to be one of the best teachers of dance in the region and is grateful for having spent 4 years teaching alongside one of the best Ballroom and latin teachers in the world - Mr Paul Beeton. Here we are pictured below having just won the prestigious Carl Allen award for the second year running (in the dancing world, this is the equivelant to  a BAFTA award) and a also the Classic de Danse award. Paul had also won a Carl Allen award that same year for best Latin teacher.

Philip is especially proud to be the newly appointed Leeds University Dancesport Coach and is hoping to continue the success of the dancesport team into 2010.

Being a member of the United Kingdom Alliance Professional Teachers of dance, ensures that you have the right support and gives you the confidence to book a lesson, safe in the knowledge that you will go home, having learnt something from your time spent with Philip.

CHILDRENS DANCE CLASSES.

Beginners Ballroom, Latin and Sequence dance classes for children start in January, March, May, July, September and November.  New entrants are taken in these months and have to complete 3 eight week sessions , before being considered for the next level of progression. 

Class times:Saturdays

10 am - 11am Beginner/Bronze/Novice
11am -12:15pm Intermediate to advanced/ Bars and Stars

ADULT CLASSES.

Due to a resent high demand in private tuition, there are no class lessons currently running for adults. Although in January 2010 a class maybe started. (Sorry)Watch this space
